A young merchant town. Tiznit was founded in 1882, during the reign of Moulay el Hassan (1873-1894), during an expedition launched by the central government for the submission of underdevelopment and neighbouring regions of the Anti - Atlas. 1 - Tiznit to Tafraoute (107 km by road 7074, but surfaced close)

2 - Tiznit Goulimine by Sidi Ifni (131 Km by roads 7064.7109 and 7129).

Beyond Sidi Ifni, we can continue on a track cotière winning Assaka wadi, or wadi Noun, near its mouth. Following the gorges of the wadi, it reaches the village of Tiséguenane, then Goulimine.
95 km: Souk el Arba on Mesti (souk on Wednesday). Continuing to travres this arid mountain forms alanguies, we come finally to a large stony plain.
131 Km: Goulimine. From there you can return Tiznit by the direct route which passes through Bou Izakarn (108 km).
